On 21 November 2018, the EU-Australia Leadership Forum launched its new publication entitled The EU and Australia: Towards a New Era at a special event in Brussels, held in the margins of the 2018 EU-Australia Leadership Forum.
The publication features more than 30 different contributions from some of the brightest minds in EU-Australia relations, including many members of the project's Multi-Stakeholder Steering Committee.
Within its pages, authors from both Australia and the EU address a broad range of thematic areas including: security, foreign policy and development cooperation; trade and investment; research innovation and the information society; climate energy and environment; migration, civil society and women's leadership.

The articles highlight the depth and breadth of the EU-Australia relationship and draw on some of the outcomes of the project to date. For example, several emerging leaders from the 2017 Forum have contributed - demonstrating the tangible impact that the project has had on bringing young leaders together to share ideas, forge relationships and develop long-lasting and meaningful collaborations.
